Like the title states, I start my Blaster up and it will run after a few seconds but then bog down and die and wont restart. I take out the spark plug and see its soaked in oil. I have an oil-block off kit and am in the process of inspecting my atv as we speak (computer and atv outside in my driveway right now). I clean off the spark plug, turn the gas off and kick start a few times to get anything out of the cylinder. I put the spark plug in, turn the gas on and the same thing. Is it possible my reed valves could of gotten messed up? Any ideas? Thanks

the slide in the carbutator, when you give it gas with the thumb throttle does it return all the way when you let off? how is the needle in your carb? is it stock and is it bent?
* before you take the carb apart, do you still have the tors box above the carburetor or have you eliminated it?

if the slide was stuck i think it would rev out not die unless you still have the tors then if it was stuck it would die
Thanks for the help guys. I think a carb rebuild is definetely in order. I bought this Blaster used with a bunch of aftermarket parts...vitos 240 kit, stroker crank, oil block off, full fmf exhaust, etc....I wonder if the previous owner left the stock carb in? Its been running like sh*t for a few months and have no idea what size jet is in or if its even the stock carb? f*ck...im pissed right now. I need to sell this piece before I leave for college and its costing me way too much time and money. Sorry for the rant. Are there some physical differences in the stock carb as opposed to an aftermarket carb which I can see with the naked eye to determine if its stock or not? Or maybe a picture?
