f*ck that! im at work right now, but i have the book at home man, i checked mine a couple weeks ago. not worth spending the money if you have an ohm meter/multi meter. ill post the specs tonight when i get home.
to test ign coil:
PRIMARY COIL:
positive lead to orange wire
black lead to ground terminal (where bolt goes through coil into frame)
the reading should be 1.44 to 1.76 ohms.
SECONDARY COIL:
positive lead to spark plug lead
negative lead to orange wire
5.28 to 7.92 Kohms (if you have an auto ranging meter this will automatically show up as Kohms)
if either of these do not meet specification, buy your ass a new ign coil. also, check the plug cap for continuity just to make sure you're alright.
