Ok I have an 00 Yamaha Blaster and my actuater is bad along with my cable is broke and thinking i need to rebuild the clutch with fresh friction discs or a complete kit. I was gonna get a barnett or Wiseco Kit. If you have any more suggestions please tell me cause ive never replaced a clutch

How'd you wreck the actuator, break the cable and wear out the clutch at the same time? But try adjusting the clutch before you buy a new kit

When i had it rebuilt i had my mechanic adjust it all the way to get the least amount of slippage. and yeah the guy before me wore it out. I plan on getting a barnett clutch kit and do it myself and let my mechanic install the cable and actuator. I hope its not an expensive fix

You'd be best off buying a Clymer shop manual and you could do it all yourself
Clutch Kit $65
Yamaha Blaster Complete EBC Dirt Racer Clutch Kit 88-06:eBay Motors (item 200389351682 end time Oct-29-09 17:55:07 PDT)

Clutch Cable $14
Motion Pro Clutch Cable Yamaha Blaster YFS200 88-08 :eBay Motors (item 330365197961 end time Nov-02-09 11:35:34 PST)

And Bike Bandit has a Clutch Push Lever for $50 which totals $129

Ive never been a fan of EBC clutch discs. My friend had one on his warrior and it lasted just about 1 year before he had to redo and his barnett has been on his bike fore 2-3 years and not a problem

i never had a problem with ebc stuff.......and dude get urself a manual and do the clutch urself.....thats crazy to pay someone to do that

it helps to know how things work and you figure that out by doing it yourself, what happens when your out riding and something goes wrong do you call your buddy, get your clutch from Vitos and they have people to talk to if your stuck.
