i have a 1998 yamaha blaster that the balance weight gear just broke so i had 2 take the clutch off.i replaced the gear and i notice that the clutch was not put together right the clutch always sliped since i bought it.it had 3 metal rings before the friction plates??and it didnt have the wave washer.so i bought new friction plates and wave washer an installed them i adjusted the clutch screw all the way in the tightest it would go.now this four wheeler runs great but when u pull the clutch lever in it stay ingaged.the outer clutch basket has 1/16 groves in it.i also put 80-90w gear oil in it please help

LOL! Well i do not know anything about diagnostics of the issue, thought maybe that would help but guess not! doing a full rebuild on mine so watched those video at least once a day for the last week haha

lol yeah.well i adjusted the screw out on the clutch handle and now it works alot better.i can now start it when it is in gear.the clutch sticks just a little now. it will start to roll a liitle wen i pull the clutch in then it stops.if i screw the screw out any more the clutch slips when im driving it lol idk wht wrong. it might be bc i use 2 thick of gear oil???
