clutch pull

ok so i have my blaster in 1st gear, and i pull in the clutch to start it, and it still jerks forward, just not as bad when the clutch is out, time for a new clutch?? and if you have it on a stand and put it in gear and pull in the clutch the tires still move so its not pulling all the way in, or its just worn out

I would check the adjustment. Pull the cover off check the fiber plates and adjust my clutch arm first to match the arrow on the case then attach cable and adjust as needed. There is quite a few writeups on here for step by step instructuions

i had to replace the basket on mine new plates had no effect or you can try adjusting the push rod

When was the last time you changed your transmission fluid? Mine started doing something very similar when the steels started getting all crudded up. The PO never changed the transmission fluid, ever.

You may try changing your transmission fluid before changing out your clutch. It may help

sicivic i just changed it last week, remember the NAPA fluid i told you about?? i dont think that would be making it act up would it??

The 80W-90 gear oil could be too thick for the clutch.

You may need to change that out.

damn, i suppose ill have to try a different oil, what you think 60w?
