clutch plate order??

ive just purchased a clutch kit and ive never fitted one that has the oval type steel plates then the last friction ive gone to fit is alot smaller??

I understand where the spring fits and the order of fibre and steels ect just how do I fit the steel plates do i line the flat edge with each other where shouts does the thin friction plate fo aswell

I have searched guys and seem to just keep finding the the"to clutch or not to clutch" thread
