clutch noise question

when i start my blaster in the cold the clutch maid noise, till i pull it in a little bit then the noise stops, when i let the clutch out it makes the noise again all while im in nuetral and i thought it tried to inch forward while in nuetral what do i do could it be the fluid or the clutch out of adjustment?
 
you mean by the lever and can u give me a quik tuturial? and is that little plastic gear behind the clutch cover, or kick start side that im supposed to take out after oil injectin removel? also how much and what kind of fluid do i use for the tranny?, and the engine just gets oiled from my mixture right?

do all this with the cable disconnected at the hand lever so it doesnt effect the internal adjustment, open her up, again!!!, loosen the locknut and screw, back it out a little, (the adjustment shaft in the middle of the clutch basket) then where the cable connects to the motor lever,theres a notch that lines up, look on the engine lever for the little point and a mark on the case, line these up, make sure it doesnt move while adjusting, a freind would be good here, then move to the other side, tighten the rod in with a small straight screwdriver till you feel it touch, then i think i read somewhere to back it off 1/2 a turn,then tighten the locknut, <<<<definately use locktite here, mine almost came loose, and thats disaster, then reconnect the cable to the hand lever, and adjust your slack i also did this with the wheels off the ground, so i could spin them with the clutch lever pulled in,to see if the wheels spun free, or if there was engine lag as i released it, before i put it all back together

the oil in the tranny is for the tranny only and you can use atf type f or you can use 10-30 motor oil or better yet belray gear saver..

and yes that plastic gear is for the injection

I see a pointy part on the clutch lever by the engine! but wheres the mark on the motor im supposed to line it up with?
 
when i try to take off the nut the drum just spins! What do i do and where is the screw u talking about?
 
you will need somthing to hold the clutch basket there is a tool for doing that but you might be able to make somthing else work...and the screw is in the center of the locknut
 
Okay i couldnt get the bolt loose, so i got pissed and dumped some high quality gear oil in there and started it up and rocked it side to side, and the noise quit completly, i can even get it to make the no-ise if i try 100%fixed.I:I No won took care of this thing, it was probably dry, so i went and picked up some 80-90 valvoline gear oil, is that okay to use for now? And guess what i cant get the drain bolt off somebody striped it and put it on way to tight, And then i got electricuted by some thing in my garage so i had to take a break, and that one dude was right about the airscrew when i turn it clock wise the idle slowes down, so that means more fuel, when i turn it to the left it speeds up, so i set it pretty rich cause this engine has just been saved. And i kinda gotta like break it in a bit! so that dude ill be senden u reps soon! :D I GOT THE BLASTER BUG

can some one gimmy a tip on how i could go about getting that drain bolt off?
 
hmmm, if not, my mechanic says hill do it for under twenty,but i might try that first. Hey arnt you the guy that said turning the air screw to the right richens it, i think you were right, cause when i turn it right the engine calms down and when i turn it left the engine speeds up! so how do i give u a rep? And i think i might be a little lean half to full throttle, can i mess with needle u can move up and down in the carb to help, instead of buying jets right now cause thats what my dirtbike has! What do i do to the thingy on top of the carb if i get a bad ass carb?
