Well I got my bottom end in and hooked up the clutch cable and has a ton of slack and doesnt string back after it is pulled in. I but it togethe ass the manual said. Lubesd up the ball and rods like it said. I dont know if it needs adjusting or there is something else wrong....

Thanks any help on this would be great.......

You might need a new clutch actuator spring. Also do you have the clutch cable holder that mounts to the jug bolt?

No the topend isnt on yet but I am putting the topend and cable holder on tomorrow. I will try changing the actuator arm and spring tomorrow sinse I have an extra on in better shape than the one thats on the motor now....

hey man i think fsuroxu?? has it , te cable holder that goes on your top end bolt holds the slack, try hooking just that nut on and check it out. could be a simple one for ya if your lucky

the last poster hit it on the head it is with your piece not bieng mounted as that takes out the slack for the most part allowing it to return to the normal position
