clutch cover, kick starter spring?

im trying to get the clutch cover on, i cant get the spring in the hole with the other thing lined up,
i did it fine when the motor was out. but now its in and when i put it on one of the threads where stripped so i put a helicoil in it...
because it was leaking oil out of the gasket...

dose anyone have any techniques???????
i wanna ride it after the fresh rebuild!!!

Sorry but your post is confusing but also i just got out of bed too. Are you saying the heli coil isn't letting the cover seat correctly? or you can't get the kickstart spring to set in correctly for the cover to go on?
