i have a 2003 yamaha blaster that has a problem when shifting into first when i clutch it the chain jerks a little. i have adjusted the handlebar part but can the bottom part by the motor be adjusted to or is this normal.

there is an internal rod adjustment, it's in the center of the clutch pressure plate, accessed under the clutch cover.
