clutch "arm"

ok i think i realized the problem, the little "line-up mark" on the engine is where the clutch arm is supposed to relax at when the hand lever is released all the way correct? (and when you pull the lever it should pull that arm towards the front past that line right)?

I thought that was where it should line up, when its pulled in, i didn't realize the arm could move past that mark since you cant physically move it by hand any farther towards the front without the cable.... But i got that hooked up right now....

But i have it all hooked up now, just trying to find the point where the lever is pulled in enough to be able to spin the front sprocket by hand.... (i should be able to do this with the chain unhooked and the hand lever pulled in) right????

LOL yeah 3 days later of looking at it on and off (bored waiting for the last parts to run her).... Got the new motor in and just waiting for my pod filter and oil block off to get here!

Anyways, i think i still need more adjusting cause i cant get it to shift through the gears, but when i pull in the lever the sprocket wont move unless its in neutral, i think its not engaging all the way still, needs more adjustments....

I figured it out once i realized which way the clutch arm was supposed to move i thought it stopped and didn't go past that line up mark towards the front LOL, the repair manual on these bikes blow so it didn't say, guess i should get a clymer for it!

Thats what i thought, ill have to hook up the chain and see if it rolls or not, maybe it just takes a little bit more force then i can give with just the sproket...

Its gotta turn though or it seems like it would make it impossible to adjust without driving it, and that could be dangerous with an out of adjustment clutch.....

Just my thoughts
