I was adjusting my clutch and when I went to loosen the nut on the adjuster i found that there was some slop in the nut. The nut is tight but there is slop. I bought a new push rod and nut etc and when I put it in there was still slop.
It looks like the hex grove in the pressure plate is worn a little bit which is causing the slop. I was going to wait and order a new pressure plate when I have to replace the clutch disks. The clutch doesn't seem to slip or anything.
Any recommendations as to if I should replace it prior to replacing the disks or if it should be ok as is for a while?
Thanks
