Is shooting some carb cleaner in your exhaust pipe and igniting it (while it is off the bike) really a viable option for cleaning it? It sounds fun. A guy was telling me that 2 strokes leave a lot of carbon build up on exhausts and this was a way to clean it.

Well that’s not the smartest thing I heard today..... just take it apart and use a metal scraper and a rag.
It does sound like fun tho:-D
hell yeah it sounds fun, i might try it on the stock header of the rappy,lol but you could egt burned when you ignite it,all that fire could escape towards you
well u dont relly have to light it just spary into the exhaust then just get a rag and spray that with the cleaner then stick the rag down the exhaust the just lite from behind a foom it lite with out burning ure eye brows of
that will do nothing to clean it out... we do this with glass packs and fart can ( big chrome can mufflers) spray agood carb cleaner or even zippo fluid in them, let it soat in for amin sqirt more in and make a trail from the tip to the ground away from muffler so you can light it.... it helps break up the packing to make them louder..
also do somehting simmaler with oil.. get some cheap two stroke oil, and pour it into the muffler than lat it it and soack in before you instal lit on the car/ truck, it will smoke for aday or so but will burn the packing up quick
