that is a reasonable mixture, what kind of riding do you do? btw, 93 octane is way over the top for a blaster (6.6:1) unless you have some SERIOUS compresssion mods. there is such a thing as too much octane, when you have too much octane for your comp ratio, its only making the fuel harder to burn, and burning incompletely, losing power. when doing your plug check you are checking the pilot jet, allow the quad to warm up, go ride it for a few minutes, give it about 1/5 throttle for about thirty seconds without going over that whatever you do do not go over 1/4 throttle or your result is sh*t, your just testing your needle there. make sure your in first gear and you are on flat ground, you must be under load, (moving). pull your plug out as soon as you kill it (pull the clutch in keeping the throttle the same and hit the killswitch) your looking for a tan/gray insulator. black means rich, not going to hurt anything just losing a little power and building excessive deposits on everything. if its oily thats too rich, jet leaner. if you see any white, flaky deposits thats lean, tan/grey is perfect.
