Changer my trans lube in my 2004 blaster..put 650ml in it ran it came back and site glass is empty..let it site awhile still empty...filled it..ran it same thing let it sit still empty..even if the site glass is empty is it full??
It's not leaking at all..it has the normal 2 stroke smoke and smell..when I first did it..the guy at the Yamaha dealer marked the quart level way over what 650ml would of been so I drained it down to the top line..ran it..let it sit added alil till it got to the middle of the 2 lines ran it again and this time it came up to almost the top line..so I think in good now but I'm gonna double check later after it sits for awhile...am I doing this right??If it's not over full, you'll see it in the sight glass
When you first put the 650ml in, did you ever actually see it to the top line of the sight glass ?
if it was even a little overfull it will be above the sight glass completely and look like nothing is in it at all
is it leaking ? or burning trans oil ? (lots of white smoke out pipe)
Will you see 650ml in the site glass?? Because remember...I went off what mark the dealership put on the quart I bought..I should of known it was to much..If it's not leaking or burning it, trust your 650ml add, and just change it a few times a season.
Just checked it after about 2 or 3 hours of sitting and it's at the top line of the site glass...that's full right??Will you see 650ml in the site glass?? Because remember...I went off what mark the dealership put on the quart I bought..I should of known it was to much..
Checked it this morning and its barely above the site glass because when you move the quad back an fourth the fluid goes back an fourth below the site glass..am I good now???Just checked it after about 2 or 3 hours of sitting and it's at the top line of the site glass...that's full right??

do you have to tune or jet you're carb with every aftermarket pipe?? Been looking at a fmf system for it
Another question I got is that do you got a container you put you're gear lube in that fills you're case to the sweet spot level?? Like a pop bottle or somethjng?? Anything that will insure me that I'm at the sweet spot level....thanks for all you're help by the wayYou have to jet the carb for every air fuel ratio change .... mix versus injection, different ratios of oil mix
or any change in airflow into or out of the engine .... aftermarket air filter, airbox lid off, any aftermarket pipe, etc.
for the FMF you'll be in the 270 to 310 range, buy all those, a 6 pack of B8ES plugs, and do pug chops to determine what works for your exact setup
