is there a way to visually check reeds. i am taking apart a spare engine i have and it has what looks like plastic or carbon reeds in it. how do i know there good/bad or other ?

with the stock reed cage(that you have) if the reeds aren't sittin flat against the cage you can take them off and flip them over. make sure to use lock tite on the screws though. don't wanna suck one of them bad boys into the cylinder.

lol thanks guys. i see SOME light though them so i guess there not flat against the block. is there a way to tell what there made out of or who made them ? i can post pics tomorrow if that will help

a pic would help. but stock are clearish and are two large pedals on each side. if they are black they are carbon fiber by vitos if two large pedals and boysen if a smaller pedal with a larger pedal underneath.

ok these are clear. my other engine has metal ones in it i thought that was factory ? this blaster stuff give me a headache lol
