im thinking about upgrading to a +4 swinger so what size chain do i need and what kind?

520 chain and u will be fine with extra on the 120 lenght so when u order

I just swapped the stock swinger out for a +3 and ordered a 42T sprocket. Any ideas if this set up will eork for me? will I have to cut the chain?

I usually get a 520 o ring chain on ebay for a dirtbike. They are usually 112-120 links and u just cut out what you dont need.

They are on ebay for around 42 dollars for a new chain.

get a 520 pitch by 120 length, I only had about 7 links or so extra from mine. You cant put an exact length on what you need because some come pre stretched some dont. I bought a rk for a kdx450 which has wayy more power then a blaster, so should hold well.

go DID 520 vector supreme sealed its made for high performance atvs 86 bucks for 120 link chain, thats what i have ran on all my quads great chains!!!
