This is not a Blaster specific question but...

Has anyone ever tried to make a chain slider out of an old white polymax cutting board? I need the lower chain slider for a LT250R and this is the only thing I can think of since I can't find this slider on the internet anyplace. I can find the swingarm slider but lot the lower chain guide slider. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and how it holds up.

Can u send me a pic of what it looks like? I may actually have what you need.. I'll pm u my number.

I would send you pic but I don't have the part cause it broke off. I will take a picture of where its supposed to go tomorrow after work.

Been doing it for years, also cut my own chain rollers from the same stuff, they hold up very well and cheap too boot.

I actually found and purchased a 10x12 inch square piece of this stuff Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (UHMW for short) last night. I was reading where some people are using it to make chain sliders and it holds up very well when restoring some really old road bikes. We'll see how it goes but I may still buy one if I can find one just to use as a template maybe.
