Hi, I just got a blaster and the chain was quite tight with me on it so I went to adjust it and they had some kind of clamp rigged up like it will not stay once tightened up. I think somethings may be missing. I was hoping some of you guys with stock blasters would post some close up photos of of the area with the 2 bolts you loosen to adjust the chain and also, is there supposed to be any chain tentioners or rollers or something? This chain just goes from sprocket to sprocket on this one. Your pics will really help me.

On adjusting the chain:
Is it a half inch of play with my weight on it? That makes about an inch of play without riders weight.
Thanks guys!!I:I

my chain just goes from one sprocket to the other too i have 2 rollers in front an a guide in the back none of them put tension on the chain an the chain has about an inch an a half of flop with me on it i dont know if this is the way its supposed too be but i havent had any problems

propper play should be between 1/2-1 inch. also there is no real rollers. just one on the swing arm and then one that has a rubber kind of roller on it on the frame above the chain and then one below the chain welded on the frame. I actually had to cut the bottom one out of my blaster when i put the +4 swinger on because of the new chain angle.

there is a rear chain guide that is more important then either the top and bottms rollers that are on the frame. there is also a white plastic "roller" on the swingarm that more of protects the swinger from chain slap.

Yeah, I got the big plastic guide for the rear already but my swing arm doesn't have anything on it by the sprocket so i guess I'll have to get one for that. i don't know if I will get a roller for it or not. I can't see how it's possible for the chain to ever reach it.
My new chain suprised me how much it stretched, I've already adjusted it a few times but it is loose again so i will have to adjust it again before I ride next.

My GPS told me I hit 59.7 MPH tonight in a corn field. woohoo!
