chain question

So yesterday was a snow day so I got the trail boss out and played in the snow. So today I was looking it over real good to make sure nothing was broke and I found my front sprocket was wasted I'm missing a tooth and all of the others are completely bent. My rear sprocket and chain are fine; is that normal for a chain drive system for the front sprocket to be wasted but the rear and chain are fine. Either way I have to replace it so whats a good brand to go with. I don't want to pay a lot but I don't want to go cheap. I can get a complete gold series o-ring chain and sprockets for 71 bucks on ebay.

ya that can happen, but get the rear sprocket better to make sure it is good.

Okay cause I mean my front is wasted like I don't know how my quad still moved but my rear is perfect and so is my chain. I found another one that factory spec but not factory- Polaris Trail Boss 325/330 2003 O Ring Chain Sprocket - eBay (item 380276043442 end time Mar-04-11 10:51:38 PST)

the second is better imo.
but a DID chain with some primary drive sprockets would be the best.

What kind of drive sprockets. A link would be cool.

i think the stock sprockets 11 front, 40 rear and a 76 link chain.

Okay so I'm just curious what does it mean when it say 520x98?

520 is the chain size, and 98 is the number of links.

So on out dealers website it doesn't tell me how many links there is it just says 78 pitch what does that mean?

they might mean the links. i think i was reading that the stock number of links on your polaris is 76 or 78.
