Chain Link Number

So i went out and bought a new chain and its 98 links compared to my old one which is 92.. what should i do?

find the master link, remove it. Hold your chain tight with the chain tensioners in, and then remove any excess that there may be. Re-attach the chain with the master link and you are done.

you just need to take out some links

ok thats what i thought i should so the master link was never attached :-D i just seen it so tomorrow or this weekend ill remove a few how many you suggest cuz th 92 on was stretched so shold i remove like 4 to start?

OK, so I'm upgrading to the F7 240 and in turn, re-gearing my blaster (14/41)and getting a +3 extended swingarm. Amy ideas on how long the chain will need to be for this? or should i just go with the longest one possible and remove links till it's right? Thanks

a 120 link chain will be fine.
