chain and sproket problem

So i bought the 14 tooth sproket for the front so i put it on and everything.. and its really close to the motor like the teeth are and i cant even get chain to go around it... how did you guys get yours on??

hmm, i didnt have that problem with a 14t....but on my 15t front i had to flip it to make it work i believe....try that, just take it and flip it around and see if you get any more clearence with it outwards more....

try putting the chain on the sprocket first and then putting it on the bike.

that worked for me 97 now the 15 could be a close fit but im going 38 on the rear

you probably can't just slip it around the sprocket, you'll have to take the masterlink apart, set the end of the chain on the top of the sprocket, then turn the sprocket to advance the chain around it.
