case weld question

Hey guys bought a non running blaster took it apart found crack in the case and had it welded. my next question is do you think I should file it down by hand? have a machine shop do it? or just buy two new case halves? I just don't wanna get it all back together and have it leak thanks!

the welds don't look bad for being repaired cast aluminum, but do shows signs of high/low spots visible even in the pics,
they will possibly need filed and definately lapped down to a perfectly flat mating surface, or it will leak, suck in air and go boom
a machine shop may be your best bet with those ?

alright thanks guys. im gunna get a quote from a machine shop and if its close to the price of two new case halves I will go that route for piece of mind
