Ok i swear this stuff only happens to me when ever i try anything but i spend the 15 bucks on a rockymountainatv.com impact screwdriver get my hammer out and start bangin out the screws. Of course my luck i strip out two of them one inside where the flywheel was and one on the outside. Any mechanics tips or tricks that anyone knows. I cant get vise grips on either one. Dang im so close to splitting these cases i can taste it, lol thanks dave

try takeing a dremel and make the screw into a flat head or even just cut it off all together thats what i did then pick up new ones at ur yamaha dealer they aint much and well worth it

I use a left handed drill bit, and drill out the screw to prep for an ez out... As you are drilling alot of times the screw backs out without needing the easy out.

Progress report ......... After soaking in pb blast all night. I just got two of the Three out by beating the sh*t out of em with impact driver thing. Tryed to drill one of em out and kept breaking off the bitts. Only one left yippee

success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all three are out just drilled into the center a little and then pounded the phillips impact driver in there and it broke loose. I guess whatever works. thanks to all

an ez out is your best bet,buy a nice one like an alden not a cheap autozone one.If its not real bad stripped you may be able to use a different bit,and check to make sure your reaching the screw good
