Hi. Has anyone drilled holes or milled slots in there carrier spacer to allow grease from the zerk fitting into that area inside the spacer around the axle and up to the bearings.

yep, I drill a series of 1/4" holes in every carrier I've ever been into, to allow the grease to get in there also.
the axle crudding up in the spacer is usually why it takes a big F'n hammer to get them apart.
drill the holes and allow grease in there and they usually slide right apart.

Do you do a even amount of holes around it or just drill random spots? Would it un-balance it? make vibrations?

Even amount and spaced, draw lines with a sharpie marker to help.

Not going to make any more vibration than unbalanced tires with mud stuck some places or 6 tire plugs in that one tire o_O

Been work on the drawing the last 2 nights. :) Just wanted to be sure.

Just need to get into shed and start drilling holes now.

Oh and I will be using a 6mm drill bit as I don't have 1/4" bit.

Be sure to get a file or sanding drum down inside to get rid of the burrs drilling down thru will make.
Then I sand the outside with an emory cloth strip to clean it up.
