ok i am leaking out the overflow line. I took apart cleaned and put back together still leaking whats the problem and fix? any ideas? by the way im new to doing my own work so the question might be stupid or easy but its new to me THX (by the way the carb did not look dirty at all inside the bowl and float did not seem to be sticking.

It could be your fuel inlet needle and seat.
They are wear items and when they fail fuel constantly flows inside the bowl.
Sometimes a hard wrap with a piece of wood on the bowl will get them to seat but that's a temp fix.
Pick up a new set and your good.
