I saw a post about someone covering their hood with carbon, but can't find it again to reply. polyester (fiberglass) resin doesn't go well with CF, you want to use an epoxy, preferably one with uv stabilzers. you can however get black fiberglass cloth and use that with a basic resin and it would be considerably cheaper. If your going to do several, i would make a mold and go that route as apposed to coating , sanding coating and sanding. With a mold, you wax the mold, spray in a little clear gelcoat, lay in the black glass and wet it out. One quick wetsand and buff and your done. You can also get fiberglass cloth in pretty much any color too...

yea it was Kens thread,turned out prettygood...since im sticking wh the raptor for a while im thinking of going with either all white or black CF plastics...550$ hit tho..lol
