carb throttle cable trouble

i threw the 48 pilot jet in my carb and did some adjusting and now my biotch idles. problem i have now, the throttle cable always comes undone in the top of the carb.. and for whatever reason it feels like its hooked up wrong..

its the oko ? 28mm carb (bought it off ebay its by cpw or whatever) i believe its similiar to the keihins.

any help is appreciated this is the only thing stopping me from riding

lol.. fail i get excited we may have an answer.. to my knowledge, yes its hooked up right. it does work for a few mins then it pops out.

The end of the cable should be threaded into the carb top and there should be one or two jamb nuts to lock it down. Is that what your carb looks like?

yea i will post a pic as soon as i have time to work on it. which isnt much maybe by the weekend ill have something. thanks for the help

You probly didnt put the slide in the key hole right??
