hey guys im thinking about the la sleeve big bore kit and wanted to know if there was a substitute carb or can i just jet up my stock carb im lacking money and want to know what to do?

to be honest with you....

if you can't afford to get everything that goes with that 240 kit, pipe, carb, at least a good aftermarket filter, know how to jet, and then can get the suspension ready to go, you should pass on the 240, and use that money towards repairing the stock top end and getting the chassis ready for a real motor

i would not run anything smaller than a 33mm carb on that cylinder kit. you can often find good deals on ebay for good used carbs.. 33-36mm keihin pwks and airstrykers would be my carb of choice. preferably a 36/35mm pwk for general trail use.
