Carb question????

Ok so i ordered a new carb for one of my buds an its for his ONAN engine on a welder/genarator... ok with the brand new carb on now it runs fine then when it goes under a load it tries to idle up an it starts to spit an sputer like the engine wants to die an the carb just poors fuel out of the over flow tubes.... so would that be a stuck float???? or could it be maybe a to big of a main jet?????? :-/ :-/ any help would be great cause i feel like an ass for him buyin a new carb an now hes having this problem.......

does it always pour out the over flow or just when under a load

only when under a load..... when its just at idle it runs fine an no over flow then...

id take the carb apart and inspect the float system

make sure the linkage is all correct, and try advancing by hand
