carb probs...

i just got the blaster and the guy said it has a 38mm carb its a little big

it wont idle for crap but mid to top is sick.. im thinking its getting drownded in gas.. should i look into a 34mm? also what bike or atvs ran this stock?

the blaster has ported arisal cylinder and a lrd exhaust

im pretty sure the pilot jet is part of the idle circuit so get a few and try them if you know if you think its too rich get a few smaller ones and see how it goes id get a smaller carb anyway

I do know that with a carb that big you will have almost no bottom end power at all.

i got a 34mm keihin today for the price of free! some kid didnt know what he had and i got it.... what should i start of by doing should i take the float of spray it up with carb cleaner and just clean the whole thing out?

tear it down and clean it out the right way, you don't know what he did to it if he didn't even know what it was. just a thought
