Has anyone used the KEIHIN PWK 35MM AIR STRIKER CARB? or the KEIHIN PJ34 CARB? How do they work and which one would you recomend? Right now I'm running a 67.5mm vito's super stock piston, LRD pipe, v force reed valve, and a K&N with no airbox lid. I plan on getting a Vito's 12 port 240 kit when its time for a new top end. Will these carbs be too big for my motor now? Should I wait till I get the big bore kit or can I use either of them with my present motor set up. If anyone has any other carb suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks guys.

the pwk is basically an updated version of the pj. I'm running a 35mm pwk on my big bore set-up and I know of a member thats running one on a ported stock bore but I don't know of anyone thats running one on a nonported cylinder.
I'd wait and get the carb when you get the big bore kit, but thats jmo.

i would say that if you are running the piston that is modified to adjust the port timing of your engine that you may be alright to go to a bigger carb. personally, i think that they may be too big at the moment but if they are you can always go back to the stock carb until you get the big bore. i would also recommend the 35mm pwk a/s as it is designed to provide better throttle response at partial throttle than the older design and might be better suited for your current application (and definitely for the big bore). the pj has a loyal following on the forum and is a good carb but it is older technology. just my .02.....
