Carb opinion

I am looking into getting a larger carb for the blaster, Its stock bore and stroke,all new internals over the winter.Had flotek do aggressive trail port and cut/milled/headwork. Cut airbox,uni filter,DMC Alien system. The stockish carb just cant supply the demand the motor is looking for at higher rpm's.
I usually buy name brand (keihin or mikuni)carbs. But I run accross these and was looking to see if anyone had used them before,if there worth the money,and if they would supply enough air/fuel needed.

I had no real problems with my OKO bit a lot of people will tell you not to get it. A 34 may be a good choice to get that way if you do some more work, you won't be hunting for a larger carb later.

Just a thought, the DMC Alien is not renowned for its top end performance, it is a low/mid pipe and will never shine at the top end.

No matter what size carb you install the DMC is always gonna be poor at the top end of the range.

I understand the peer pressure of what pipe is better, I had an fmf and toomey and i got rid of them both as IMO where junk noise makers. FMF was
a flat pipe all accross and the toomey was flat up untill high revs. DMC Pulls from down low and peeks but doesnt drop off and thats what I want for how I ride. I know I need a larger carb and was looking for info on the lower budget carbs, I got an eye on a zilla and been saving but in the mean time trying to get just a bit more outta the blasty..
