carb leak

i just put the new rebuild kit in my carb. It works really good but i have a problem. When it sits with the gas on it doesnt leak but when im runnin it gas comes out the lover over flow tube. I need info on why it could be doing this when it runs but sitting it doesnt.

maybe your float needs to be adjusted.

ive gone back through and adjusted it, but i dont understand y it leaks when its running but not when its siting

its got a complete rebuild kit in it as of yesterday. I put everything back together exactly as it came apart. When i put the float in i flipped it upside down and it didnt stick. I even took it back off and tried to adjust it and it didnt make a difference.
