Carb jetting

I have a 2001 blaster with a dnc pipe running open air box and it brakes up at full throttle the oil injection has been removed I'm thinking I need a bigger jet any ideas I ordered a 280 jet going to give it a try

You need at least a 300-310 main jet and the needle lifted up to the second bottom clip.

You may find you need a 320 in the colder weather.

Plug chop to confirm both main jet and needle..

Only use genuine jets..

Is a 280 too big or too small

Is a 280 too big or too small

too small (lean) = boom !
do not run it again until you get bigger jets. 300/310/320
start large and plug chop down until correct

and lift that needle by dropping the clip 1 spot as advised above
