So I got my new exhaust dmc /alien muffler got a after market air breather with the air box lid off cant seem to be able to get a 260 main jet will it hurt to leave the stock jet in thanks
 
You need more than a #260 main, if you are prefixing at 32:1 then the smallest you can go is a #310 and plug chop to confirm.

The stock needle should be moved to the bottom clip for a start, you may find it can come up one.

If you run with the stock jet, be prepared to a rebuild soon, the piston will cook.
 
I got a 340 that's the smallest I got a and the air box lid off and an after market air breather and I am running the stock oil pump
 
Yeah I tried to order the mikuni jets from the only dealer in town and I got the same sh*tttttttttttt I had

Smallest jet I got is a 340 and I am mixing with the stock oil pump
 
List of mods ive done
aftermarket breather airboxlid off
Dmc exhaust/alien silencer
I am going to get it ported in winter so what size of jets do I need to order thanks for the help
 
well i run the pro x jets with absolutely no issues.and from browsing around the forum the sizes seem to be the same between pro x jets and mikuni jets.
 
Start with a 300 with current mods and plug chop to confirm. It may be pretty rich so order a 290 as well. at your altitude you might find a 290 is better. but start with the 300.
