OK i know i've asked a dozen times but anyways.

i have been trying to get it right on the jetting on my carb.

i tried the vitos kit and it was way to big IMO.

it has a 240 in it stock so i was thinking of trying a 250;260 jet with the needle
in the stock position.

the vitos started with a 290 which i tried and it flooded out like crazy.

any other thoughts.

it mainly loses power in the top end and seems slower than it should i guess

i just can't afford to take it somewhere and get charged 200.00 to tune it properly.

What level is your needle on if its a stock blaster then put it on the second groove.
Tighten your air screw all the way then open it up 1-1/4 turns. I run a 230 jet in mine and everything works fine. Also remove your tors if you havent.

bored out i think .40 over wiesco piston

DG pipe and silencer reed spacer plate

no toil filter

boysen power reeds

tors removed

i have added the idle screw on the side aleady

where is this other screw air screw?

where is this other screw air screw?

to the back of the quad near intake boot, its on the right side just above the bottom of the carb, can't miss it

did you try running it with the 240 jet doesnt seem like you need more than that with the little mods you have

also the air screw is on the shifter side of the carb ,theres only the one screw there
the idle screw is on top of the tors carb cap and it is a big nickel size flathead screw

was wondering if a 40 jet would be good for my bike, i am in wa state, running a 152 and a 48 pilot, with the mods listed, bogs out of neutral to first then dies.

the 240 was in it to begin with .

it seems to lean out not richen up.

the TORS is off so no big screw there.

if your using a vitos needle kit take it out and pick your teeth with it or give to mittens the cat to bat around ,put the stock mikuni back in and adjust with it from now on

i have already taken out the vitos kit along with the 300 jet

the bike is from colorado it had a 240 from the start.

i'm thinking of picking up a 250 and 260 jet to try out.

i suck at this if it were a 350 small block with a holly or edlebrock i could do it in my sleep. lol

Im not too good at jetting either, I wish I could just know by size real easy. I had to do 4 plug chops about a month ago to get mine right lol.

mine had a 290 in it and all i had was fmf pipe and silencer and i put a 230 in it and now it runs 100x better then before and just put a new piston in it so that helped to

the 290 is way to big probably great if your stroked and have a big bore but
i couldn't see it being used any other way on a blaster.

the 240 right now just seems a little to small given the top end dyeing out but
i'm not great with them either i figure you should look into a 240 yourself
while i try the 250 or 260

if you go to the team alba site they suggest a 260-270 jet with the exhaust
and taking the snorkel off of the air box lid.

i'm kinda taking that to heart and givnig that some thought. i already have the snorkel off to fit the 400ex rear shock. i have full exhaust so why not try it it's a little bit of time and maybe 10 bucks in jets but if your bike is thatg much faster the money and time should be well worth it.
