I tried taking about my 99 blaster carb yesterday and once I unscrew the top cap the jet is stuck in the carb and I can't get it out ?

can you get us pics posted to see what you're doing ?
it sounds like you've taken the carb cap off (on top), slide out and trying to remove the needle jet from above ?
the main jet is accessed thru the float bowl (4 phillips screws), which is on the bottom of the carb
