Can you stand on your nerfs

Just wondering, this is the first quad iv owned,rode with after market nerfs and i was wondering are they supose to support your weight? Like if your standing next to your bike and just step up on the outer frame of the nerfs between the tires....just wondering...cause in 220 5'11" and the nerfs im using are off a shee and there not have any of that...lol

I have the same DG ALLOY series nerfs on my shee
I'm 5'10 170ish and I can jump hop and walk all over my nerfs, but they're on my shee....I dont think they fit blaster's too well

Well they bolted up fine with a little modding. Maybe there just flexing with 220lbs on them and im just thinking im gonna bend them...lol

You should be able to stand on them.I can stand on mine and I am close to the same weight.

well i know they use them in mx racing to guard your foot from the other peoples wheels for one and there for if you land wrong like with out feet on pegs it will save you from a lot of things, just think if you jumped and you landed and your feet touched the ground...lol you would run them over first and who knows ...ripp them off...lol I just didnt know if they should stand 220lbs sitting on one....they still work fine...im to heavy any way...lol

I used to stand on mine all the time, but they did crack and bend (not my fault) lol, but dualstroke has them now and I'm pretty sure he repaired them up nice.
