Well i get payed tomorowI:I and i have been told to make a blaster better get a Pipe and silencer, airfilter, tires and Reeds. I got an fmf fatty and Powercore k&n airfilter, and Husier mx tires.....now all i need is the reeds so whats good and is there a Post anywhere in DIY to change them? Thanks a ton yall

good and cheap is replacement boysen reeds for your stock reed cage, better is the boysen rad valve, best is vforce3 reed system. im using the rad valve and ported it myself and i like it so far...

reeds are the "valves" of the engine. they let air and fuel in while preventing it from loosing pressure. good ones are the vf3's if you have the money if not boyseen reeds work just fine. its super easy to replace them. remove the carb from the air boot and intake boot put it aside take the four 10mm bolts off the intake boot (the one on the engine you just pulle the carb out of) the reed cage should pop right out with the intake boot. then either replace the reeds on the stock cage (use red lochtite on the screws so they dont end up in the engine) or replace the whole cage with v force 3's or a rad vavle set up. you may want to use a gasket sealer on the reed cage both sides to prevent an air leak because the intake likes to leak alot. then put the intake boot back on. do a leakdown test and put the carb back in place and you are set to go

Sweet whitty ill take it. Like i said i get paid tomorow. How can i pay you? im makeing a Paypal account tomorow if that helps any. And can anyone tell me what the difference is gonna be like after i get this on??thanks acezee for all the information itll come in hand when i get these on

boyseen reeds on stock cage- minimal throttle response and horsepower gain still noticeable over stock

boyseen rad valve system-excellent throttle response and horsepower gain very good on low end needs a slight port to open its full potential

v force 3's- best bang for your buck same throttle response and horsepower gain as rad valve works great on all rpm ranges needs no porting has no screws to end up in the engine and cheaper than the rad valve.

the rad valve is a nice option, but is steep at 180 bucks, i got vf3's that is why i am selling mine, i can do u better, if u dont want the reed cage, i can put the reeds in the jet kit box and its yours for say 30 shipped?

/\/\/\ thats a good deal
be sure to get them sealed up good with brand new gaskets, and a leakdown test should be done also to insure no airleaks, or you'll be on here askin which piston to buy
