im trying to get my ride back together now that its getting nice since it been in the middle of a rebuild since like oct i believe. in like nov. i took my entire bucket of nuts and bolts to a place that does industrial zinc coating. gave him all my nuts and bolts that came with the bike and got them done bright silver, well i bought this as a project with some things already taken apart so obviiously there was some nuts and bolts missing before i sent them to the zincer. well now here i am bolting things on and missing nuts and bolts here and there. well heres the issue....i ordered some lower shock bolts through a store on ebay that was going out of bussiness or whatever...they came in bright zinc which was perfect. matched insanely well. well now i just ordered the nuts from a yamaha dealer online through there website and got them today and they were black....now i ordered 1 of the same lower shock bolts from this place as well...and i checked the part number on the bright silver one and it is the same as the black one. how do they differentiate between the two???
has anyone ever ordered nuts and bolts and got the silver ones? where from if so? i do not want to put black on this bike. i have completely redone everything down to each little bolt even the gas tank bushing sleeves were zinced.
