burning oil like crazy

i could be wrong, but didnt you just get that thing rebuilt, definately what 305 said, its the one behind the clutch, gotta pull that and the gears behind it to replace the seal

has new oil seals all around im thinking when i put the cases together i didnt put enough seleant on. i dont think its the crank seals cuz it burnes it below the crank seal it burns it dry

it burns it below the seal and till it gets dry because of the vacuum created by the cylinder, the same way it draws the fuel mixture out of the bottom end

just repeating what i read yesterday about where that seal is, but now im seeing "case halves" too, what did you use to seal them???
do a search for crank seal replacement
just looked at my manual and there is an "oil seal" behind one of the gears behind the clutch and they can get damaged while passing the shafts thru during assembly

look in the manual in the engine assembly section, it shows an oil seal behind one of those gears behind the clutch,
and i just read somewhere about using one of the factory's case half sealents not rtv, i dont know about the permatex stuff, but more than likely one of those 2 things, also read about doing a leak down test, and possibly look for where its leaking air from, do a search for leakdown test if you dont know how, i dont
good luck, let us know what ya find
