i had a crazy airleak in my crank seals a few months ago and replaced them and it fixed the problem. now im noticing that my blaster is losing crank oil every few hours of riding and it is really smoking and the smoke kinda smells like the mobil 1 oil i have in it. the smoke is not very white and not very thick its more of a thin bluish smoke but its a hell of alot of it. could my seals have gone bad already? i got them off ebay not oem could i already need new ones? could i have put them in wrong?

You are probably burning transmission fluid if it smells like burning motor oil... LOL

Build a leakdown tester and remove your clutch cover. Spray soapy water on the crank seal and see WHERE it's leaking, not just that it is leaking...

If bubbles don't appear around the clutch side crank seal, soak the balancer shaft area and see if bubbles form there. If bubbles for there, you need to split your cases and figure out why your crankcase is leaking between the halves.

i just did a leakdown and its dropping like 1 psi every 30 seconds to a minute. i cant pull off my flywheel or clutch to check the seals right now but when i borrow my friends impact wrench i will. does this sound like a crank seal leak? as i said they are not oem

i pulled the clutch cover off and by spraying soapy water i havnt seen a single bubble. i thightened the intake boot on the tester and now its holding without dropping a single psi. where else could it be leaking from?
