Buddy's rebuild gone wrong!!

Ok as far as jetting goes on this thing does anybody have any hints as to what jets to run after i get this thing put back together? Obviously i was runnin her lean so whats in there is no good. I just need a good starting point and i can make the adjustments from there. Main Jet? Pilot? Sizes? Stock Carb(dont remember what jets are in it now), K&N Air filter with open top box and vitos fat bastard pipe and silencer. Wiseco piston(working on finding out what size bore) and Vforce3 reeds. Thanks!!

Holler at holeshotman he has the leak testers.....004 is the proper piston to wall clearance maybe a lil more being .005 for a wore cyl... check all up and down and around the cyl for clearance

Just like he said^^^^ imagine that piston slappn around in that cyl....not good

That makes sense to me man. Good lookin out.

Guys, every piston has a different piston to wall clearance. a forged piston's is different than a cast.
when you buy a piston, it should have the correct clearance number on the box or on a paper in the box. and a machine shop will know what to look at.

the piston to wall clearance is for when the piston heats up it doesn't lock up.
if you have it too tight, when the engine warms up the piston will become one with the wall.
if you have it too loose, it wont have any compression and if it does start you will have slap.
