i just got done replacing a head gasket and also noticed a broken reed. i could see the piece (almost a whole petal) between the crank and engine case. i tried rotating the engine backwards and pulling it up but of course it fell down in further and out of sight. if it was just a little piece i wouldnt worry so much but being such a large piece should i disassemble and find it?? thanks for any help
