Break In

I was just wondering about how long a break in usually takes or how many tanks of gas should be ran through it first? I am on my second tank and started doing wheelies in first gear but not completely wound out in the rpm`s so I was wondering if this would hurt it?

No, i dont beleive you would hurt it. I did that on my first tank im pretty sure, and i dropped her a jet size and she starts first kick, purrr.

on my last rebuild, i let the quad idle for about half a tank, then i rode it for the rest and never let her get into the powerband. on the second tank, i was ripping the biotch in ever gear and ever way possible.
