Hey guys and gals,
I just purchased my first quad...an 2001 Blaster. Looks to be stock. Picked it up for 600 bucks too so it was not to bad of a price. Fires right up too. Runs good from what I can tell from riding it for a few minutes. The only problem I have found so far is the front brakes do not work. I looked at the drums on the bottom and they move in and out but the handle comes all the way in.
Anything you guys would recommend me doing to it first? I have read about the oil pump bypass kit (which he said he has been using pre mixed anyways). I know nothing about quads but I am a ASE certified mechanic though so I should be able to figure it out.
Thanks again guys and look forward to posting and surfing more :)

The front drums, Look at them from the front you will see a wing nut connected to a cable with a spring turn the both the same amount of times if you have to tighten them a lot your brake pads are probably wore right out.
