Whats up, when I got this 95 blaster the motor was stuck from a piston explosion, lots of little pieces were wedge on the crank and inside cases, I now have it unstuck and rotating. The connecting rod feels nice and tight and the crank has some light blueing on it but not bad. Would it be that time to split the cases and clean it up real good? Or throw in a new crank and rod and go from there? Thanks Kev

It would be best to split the cases to inspect the mating surfaces for damage and check the crank on a truing stand to see that it is still balanced.

split and clean it because you never know what could be left down in there that you don't see taht could kick up into the rest of the bottom end

Thanks guys, I had that feeling that's what I should do. Looks like I'm getting a new toy------impact wrench. lol
