So after hearing a bad knocking noise while riding, i was trying to get back to my trailer when the chain snapped, the noise sounded like just a knock and only was noticable in 4th gear close to going into 5th gear...

Today I took the jug off thinking it needed a top end rebuild, but when i took it off it seemed fine, so i trying to kick it gently to see if it was okay but it seems to be seized, i have to put full pressure just to get it to move, so I dont know whats cause it or whats wrong but any advise would be great! also it was smoking white the time before so i changed the seals but it still smoked white.. thanks

I would take off the side cover and take off the gear that connects the crank to the trans. That way you would be able to see if it's the crank or the trans that's binding.

After you pull the clutch cover, take a good look to see if something looks wrong. Another way you can try is to put it in gear and hold the clutch in while trying to push it. If it rolls, it may be the crank and not the trans.
