bottom end crank install begins

Well im finally starting on my build and i have gotton the motor off and head off too.Next week im going to try to split case.Just need to know what all i can get away with as far as not taking all the gears out to just put in the crank in .can i get away with just removing the primary gear and the balancer drive gear with the square key?Also i hear the +3 crank you have to do a little shaving anybody got any ideas on how many mm to shave out of the bottom end?I know were to grind the case at just would like a general idea how much.

i just got done doing this about an hour ago, the whole tranny other than what u listed above stays on in one peice, very simple, u have to partially assemble one half of the crank with the jug and piston in to see where the hand grinding needs to be done, its the rod that just barely hits the case.

If you have access to a welder you can make one from some plate and 2" tube. The one I made splits the cases and installs the crank in the left case.
